Max said: “It’s a really nice looking chain but the QC (quality control) on this company is absolute garbage, I ordered 8 chairs and 3 of them had really bad legs, I installed all of them exactly the same way there instructions manual said and as you can see in the pictures, I can fit my whole index finger underneath the chairs leg and the front leg I can fix a flat head screw driver underneath the chair front leg and it was still not hitting the bottom of the leg since it was so high in the air which in conclusion makes it extremely wobbly you can’t even use it. Wayfair was kind enough to send me a replacement almost a month later and 2 of the three chairs now wobble too….

I have some taller family members, so Ill see what they think when they visit. As you can see from the pictures, my dog has already claimed them as his own, so they must be great. Seriously, buy these chairs if youre looking for a cheaper, yet still beautiful option.

How to Recover Patio Chairs

Exposure to the elements eventually depletes the patio furniture, necessitating the salvage of the patio chair or cushions. Salvaging patio chairs gives outdoor furniture a new look. Salvaging the cushions and plastic, wood or metal parts of the chairs also helps change the color scheme of patio chairs, although salvage is not absolutely necessary. The process of recovering chairs and other patio furniture and cushions will only take a day.
Sand the wood, metal or plastic surfaces of patio chairs to prepare them for painting. Paint adheres better to a rough or matte surface than to a polished or smooth surface.
Cover the parts of the chair that you don’t want painted with pieces of newspaper and tape. Cut pieces of newspaper to fit and remove cushions before painting.
Spray paint in the chosen colors. Use a type of spray paint suitable for the material of the patio chair. Using spray paint provides an even coat without brush marks or paint spatter. Let painted furniture dry overnight before removing tape and newspaper, then using chairs or other furniture.
Measure the current or old cushions of the patio chair to create a pattern for the new covers. Write down the measurements for the width, length and thickness of each pillow and add 2.5cm on all sides of each piece to allow for seams.
Cut the pieces of water-resistant material that you will need to make the cushion covers; if the fabric is thick, you may need industrial grade scissors. Pin the pieces together, leaving ½ inch at all seams.
Sew the pieces together using a heavy, heavy duty industrial needle and nylon thread. Leave at least one seam or side open, place the old pillow inside the new cover and sew the final seam.
To extend the life of the new paint on the patio chair, spray a clear coat of polyurethane after the paint dries and allow the paint to dry completely before using the furniture.
Using non-graduated spray paint for patio chair materials can cause the paint to peel prematurely, which can damage clothing or stick to skin.
